BOAT JOSÉ GALLART: from Folch y Cía. Of 3794 tons. Built in Dumbarton (Great Britain) in 1898 commissioned by the shipping company Elder & Dempster, baptizing it with the name of Montclair. In 1908 it was acquired by the Catalan firm Folch y Cía, who renamed it José Gallart. This company was later called Sociedad Anónima de Navegación Transatlántica and sold it in 1911 to Pinillos Izquierdo y Cía, where it was renamed Balmes. In May 1927 it was acquired by Casa Ramos, where they gave it the name of Ramón Alonso R. It was scrapped in 1959.
