this photo of JOAN MIRÓ was taken in 1968 by famous spanish photographer & movie director FRANCESC CATALÀ-ROCA...in MIRÓS' studio in son boter, palma de mallorca.
it shows the artist in front of his work L'ESPERANCA DEL CONDEMNAT A MORT - a set of 3 paintings which MIR'O finished on the day of the execution of SALVADOR PUIG ANTICH, a catalan nationalist who got executed by the late FRANCO regime
