photo shows puppeteers and string puppets, backstage at the czech institute in london, 1942..possibly a belgian group of puppeteers, as the photo is from INBEL a belgian news agency and the other photo  I have from this series has a handwritten note on back of photo is in french...it reads:

'souvenir de notre representation du 7 octobre 1942, a l'institut tchecoslovaque, de londres'

stamp on back reads:
