vintage "gruss aus steyr" moonlight / night view postcard from austria, showing a beautiful panoramic town view in atmospheric dark tinting featuring the river, a bridge, and the historic skyline. published by verl. v. a. stiasny, steyr.
the front contains a handwritten message in ink dated september 14, 1897, signed by bertha stippl.
the reverse is postally used as a "correspondenz-karte" addressed to dresden, germany. it features a 2-kreuzer austrian stamp cancelled with a clear steyr postmark from september 15, 1897, and a dresden-neustadt arrival stamp from september 17, 1897.
