the card was sent as german military field post (feldpost) during the wwi occupation of belgium, dated by the sender on july 21, 1915. the reverse features a clear circular postmark of the "k.d.feldpostexped. d. 46. reservediv." from july 21, 1915, along with a violet military censor stamp (mil. zensur).
the card contains a handwritten message in german script addressed to linden-limmer near hannover.
