postally used as wwi field post ("feldpost"), franked-free and cancelled with a "feldpostexpedition d. 54. reserve-division" cds dated 2 august 1915. handwritten german correspondence from a soldier describing troop movements and a journey via ostende, addressed to fräulein elisa goss, landgrafenstrasse 40.
