the front shows a historic street scene in the silver mining city of potosi featuring the old main post office building.
the unique front franking features three different vintage correos de bolivia postage stamps neatly tied to the card with a crisp circular blue postmark from potosi dated october 28 1913 along with a contemporary ink signature.
the reverse side features the purple business stamp of the sender ricardo poveda filatelista a well known stamp dealer from potosi bolivia. it contains a handwritten message in spanish addressed to the prominent collector mr miguel vila in palma de mallorca spain confirming their trade agreement for cards with stamps on the front view side.
the upper right corner features the circular black arrival postmark from palma de mallorca dated july 13 1914 showing a spectacular 9 month transit time just before the outbreak of world war i.
