this historic image captures a lively seaside scene at the famous coastal resort of etretat in normandy france titled les bains de mer.

the photograph features several swimmers in vintage swimwear enjoying the water with a wooden diving board mechanism extended into the sea. a small rowboat with occupants rests near the shore while one swimmer is perfectly captured mid-air during a dive.

the print is mounted on its original decorative card stock bearing the famous ND LOGO by the photography STUDIO NEURDEIN FRÈRES in the corners.
