back marked with la parisienne fotografia brunel 166 andes montevideo entre san jose y soriano. photography by FEDERICO BRUNEL. the photo can be precisely dated to the year 1868 based on historical newspaper archives and advertisements from that exact year confirming the studio active at this specific address. size is approximately 6.5 x 5.4 cm as the card was historically trimmed to fit into a vintage photo album.
