original vintage jazz poster (not a reprint!) for a memorial concert held on november 14th 1969.

timmy rosenkrantz, a danish jazz pioneer, died on august 11th 1969 in new york...a view month later his ashes have been shipped to his hometown kopenhagen/denmark where than this memorial concert was held.

teddy wilson and kenny drew took turns at the piano, niels-henning ørsted pedersen, charlie shavers, ben webster and don byas, and the saints and sinners, led by former fats waller trumpeter herman autrey and including eddie barefield and vic dickenson, all played. inez sang 'i'll never be the same'....

condition: very good...see photo...a few light creases & 2-3 tiny tears on edges...
