the front shows a lively street scene featuring pedestrians people walking a historic horse-drawn tramway yellow double decker horse tram and the famous round tower rundetaarn in the center background. there is a vintage handwritten greeting on the front signed by bertha rahlfs.

the back is an undivided back brevkort carte postale marked verdenspostforeningen union postale universelle danmark.

it is postally used with a red 10 ore danmark stamp cancelled with a clear kjobenhavn circular postmark dated 18 7 05.

it also features a swiss arrival postmark bern briefdistr 20 vii 05. addressed to fraulein johanna stucky in bern switzerland.
