exceptional postally used colonial postcard from 1905 during the historic herero and nama war in german south west africa (namibia).

the back features a 5 pfennig kaiseryacht imperial yacht stamp for deutsch-suedwestafrika, perfectly cancelled with a clear circular postmark from okahandja dated 11.3.05. it is addressed in beautiful vintage german kurrent script to a newspaper editor in hamburg.

size: ~ 9 x 14 cm (1 cm ~ 0.39 inch)

postally used in 1905

conditon: good to very good...stain on right border.......please also refer to scans which show complete front and back of postcard
