original vintage colour postcard "andalucia - coger de aceitunas / la manta - recoleccion d'olives" (olive harvest), showing a lively rural scene with workers sorting olives on a large cloth, wicker baskets, a donkey and an olive grove landscape.

published by tomas sanz, sevilla.

franked with a spanish stamp, postmarked sevilla and palma de mallorca 12 july 1917.

the sender, antonio cepudo (sevilla), explicitly writes "me agradaria cambiar con vd. algunas tarjetas" (i would be glad to exchange some cards with you) - direct documentary evidence of an early 20th century postcard exchange network, with a club reference "i.a.e.c.".

sent to miguel vila, fiol 9, palma de mallorca (islas baleares) - a postcard collector who exchanged cards with fellow collectors worldwide.

this postcard is part of a small collection linked to the "registre d'échangistes de cartes postales" (r.e.c.p.), sometimes also "...et de timbres-poste" - a french-founded international club and registry active from the early 1900s through the 1910s-1930s, connecting thousands of postcard and stamp collectors across europe, the french colonies and beyond. members identified themselves with personalised rubber stamps or printed vignette labels bearing their individual membership number, applied to the cards and correspondence they exchanged. several cards in this collection carry such r.e.c.p. member numbers and were sent to miguel vila, fiol 9, palma de mallorca, a collector who exchanged cards with correspondents across europe and north africa. together they offer a rare, tangible glimpse into one of the largest pre-war deltiology and philatelic exchange networks, beyond the individual views they depict.
