ultra rare original historical glass plate negative measuring approximately 12 x 9 cm. this unique photographic master record from world war i stems from an official military or industrial design archive.
the negative documents a technical drawing or blueprint design of an aerodynamic airship or blimp body. the illustration shows the side profile of the fuselage, the tail fins steering layout, and a rear-mounted propeller or air screw. the original drawing paper sheet is visibly pinned to a dark background board with metal push pins.
features the contemporary hand-scratched military archive registration code 606 in the upper right corner, and a small round white inventory label on the bottom left.
the glass plate is in good vintage condition with strong contrast, clear lines of the design, and a fully intact emulsion. a rare museum-grade artifact for collectors interested in the engineering, aerodynamics, and structural history of WWI airships and zeppelins. p
