vintage color tinted printed postcard showing an impressive bird-eye industrial view from northern italy. the front depicts the large complex of the lanificio di gavardo wool textile factory located in bostone near brescia. the panoramic view captures the massive factory buildings with sawtooth roofs, multi-story industrial facilities, and a tall brick chimney emitting smoke next to the chiese river. the valley layout is surrounded by lush green fields and the peaks of the lombardy alpine foothills in the background. the top center features the printed caption lanificio di gavardo, bostone (brescia).
the back of the postcard is unused (unposted) and formatted as an italian cartolina postale with a divided back layout. the lower left border contains the vertical publisher imprint no. 2120 a. trüb und cie., aarau.
