Kyoto / Japan: Nijo Castle Yagura Watchtower Meiji Taisho Era (Vintage PC ~1910s)

vintage sepia-toned japanese postcard featuring the historic nijo castle (nijojo) in kyoto. the front depicts the stone wall foundations and the white southeast corner watchtower (yagura) along with the main entrance gate structure. a person is visible walking along the path in front of the castle grounds.
the reverse side features a divided back with an elegant blue printed floral vine decorative border. it includes the heading carte postale and japanese characters in small circles (郵便はがき - yubin hagaki). there is a vintage pencil inscription in the center reading kyoto, daimyo-burg.
