this rare oversized cabinet photo measures 16.5 x 23 cm and is housed in its original pre-ww1 art nouveau jugendstil embossed cardboard mount

the highly detailed image captures a prominent german military attache or officer seated on the right wearing an imperial preussian pickelhaube helmet and holding dress gloves next to him on the left sits a senior spanish general in full dress uniform with crossing bandoliers and a ros shako the surrounding staff consists of numerous spanish officers in period uniforms a magnificent and crisp piece for collectors of imperial german army memorabilia pickelhaube photography and early 20th century military history...
