beautiful and authentic vintage postcard from the colonial era featuring a stunning colored portrait of a samoan taupou (chief's daughter) titled samoan warrior. she is wearing the traditional tuiga headdress, an ula fala pandanus necklace, and is holding a ritual nifo oti war knife/machete.

published in germany by the well-known publisher theodor eismann leipzig marked th. e. l. serie 1009 on the back.

the back also features a multi-language world postal union layout.
