Portrait Beautiful Young Girl Floral Hat (Vintage RPPC 1912)

vintage real photo postcard (rppc) featuring an oval-framed portrait of a beautiful young woman. she wears a large, elaborate sun hat heavily decorated with flowers and secured with a patterned silk scarf tied under her chin. the lower left corner shows a crescent moon and star studio logo next to the serial number 279 in the right corner.
the reverse side features a divided back with a green 5 pfennig deutsches reich postage stamp (germania design). it is postmarked leipzig on august 12, 1912, and addressed to fraeulein tilde hastert in elberfeld (now wuppertal), schulstrasse 4. the left side contains an extensive handwritten message in german cursive written with pencil.
