vintage german real photo postcard rppc showing the entrance to jacobs well eingang zum jacobsbrunnen bei sichem near nablus palestine holy land.

the image captures a rare view of the unfinished greek orthodox church over the historic site showing the brick walls and the distinctive cross-shaped window.

construction began in 1914 but was halted due to world war one leaving the site as a ruin for decades until its completion in the late 1990s.

excellent documentation of the holy land during the British mandate period with german inscription.

the reverse side is blank and unposted with standard lines for the address.
