Berchtesgaden / Germany: Salt Mine Train Ride Salzbergwerk (Vintage RPPC 1930s)

vintage real photo postcard showing a fun historical group scene inside a salt mine.

the front depicts a large group of tourists, both men and women, dressed in traditional dark protective miner overalls and caps. they are all sitting tightly behind one another on a small wooden mining train carriage (grubenbahn) ready for a ride underground. a prominent steering wheel mechanism and the painted numbers 26 and 9 are visible on the front car.

the back of the postcard is unused (unposted) and features a clean divided back layout. the vertical separator line contains the agfa brand logo imprint. 

size: ~ 9 x 14 cm (1 cm ~ 0.39 inch)
