Paris / France: Corner Brasserie Rue Lamarck Café Terrace Waiter (Vintage RPPC 1920s)

vintage french real photo postcard from the nineteen-twenties featuring a rare and detailed corner view of a traditional brasserie located on the historic rue lamarck in the montmartre district of paris. the street sign rue lamarck is visible next to the main brasserie awning. the front shows the classic outdoor terrace seating setup with wicker chairs and tables, a waiter in his traditional long apron, and the manager or owner posing proudly in the center. the windows are decorated with printed telephone signs.
the back is formatted as a french carte postale with a divider, heavily covered with a long handwritten message in spanish addressed to a mother. the text is written by a son who explains that he has not written out of lack of goodwill but because he has been very busy with business and work. he mentions being far from his home town to take advantage of time, reflects on how hard life is, and hopes to return soon if fortune turns to their side. it includes warm greetings to his family, father, sister, and wife, and is signed su hijo jaume.
the postcard is unposted without a stamp but carries full historical correspondence.
