the card is historically significant as it was posted from kaunas on april 13, 1924, addressed to berlin-neukoelln, germany. it features a 15 centu lithuanian stamp (lietuva) with a clear circular kaunas postmark dated 13.iv.24.
the back includes printed text in lithuanian, english, and german: "i. serija. kaunas und seine umgegend. nr. 10. nemunas anfahrt / kaunas and his environs. the port of the nemunas". published by photographer al. balsys, kaunas.
