Boppard / Germany: Rheinschleife Hotel Spiegel Elberfeld Postmark (Vintage PC Litho 1901)

antique german multi-view lithograph postcard titled gruss aus boppard a rh.
the front design features a large panoramic view of the famous rhine river bend rheinschleife near boppard alongside a diamond shaped inset vignette photograph showing the historic facade of hotel spiegel at the riverfront with boats docked in the foreground. the scene is decorated with white apple blossoms or wild rose flowers and a flag. the front contains a long contemporary message in old german ink script.
published by central-postkartenvertrieb v k seyd boppard numbered 11321 on the left margin.
the reverse side shows an undivided back postkarte franked with a green 5 pfennig germania reichspost postage stamp cancelled by a circular town postmark from boppard dated 28 6 01. the back also features a very crisp bridge style town arrival postmark from elberfeld dated 28 6 01 12-1n. it is addressed to fraeulein liselotte simmer in elberfeld.
