vintage original luggage label from the famous japanese shipping company n y k line nippon yusen kaisha dating back to the

1920s or 1930s. the unused circular paper label features the iconic company colors and logo with blank fields for destination room no and the ship name ending with maru.

printed in japan is clearly visible at the bottom.

the reverse side is plain paper with no gum or adhesive backing as was typical for travel labels of this era which were glued on by hand.

size: ~ 11.5 x 13.5 cm (1 cm ~ 0.39 inches)
