vintage original black and white photograph dated january 4 1958 documenting the nearly completed exterior of the german catholic mission church holy ghost cathedral and the bishops house in bethlehem free state south africa.

the front view shows advanced progress with the brickwork completed scaffolding up and the finished bishops house standing to the right.

the back is printed on agfa brovira photographic paper with a handwritten pencil inscription in german stating bethlehem kathed u bischofshaus 4 jan 58.
