Antonio Coppola: Venditore Agli e Cipolle - Military Feldpost (Vintage PC ~1910s)

vintage postcard showing two barefoot neapolitan boys selling large bunches of garlic and onions. the front is based on an artwork by the italian painter antonio coppola and titled venditore agli e cipolle. 
this card was published by edition guggenheim & co., zürich (serial number 14381 dep.).
the back features a handwritten message in german and was sent via swiss military mail, bearing a purple circular military stamp: geb. inf. bataillon iv/47 feldpost. it is addressed to monsieur alex morand at the hotel au lac in vevey.
