WWI: German Soldiers Accordion Wicker Pram Rifle Feldpost (Vintage RPPC 1916)

deutsche soldaten mit akkordeon und kinderwagen, feldpost foto-postkarte 1916 nach heubach / schwäbisch gmünd
exceptional and charming first world war black and white real photo postcard (rppc) capturing a humorous scene of two german soldiers in the field.
one soldier stands smiling on the left, holding a large accordion and pulling a traditional wicker baby carriage (kinderwagen). inside the pram is another military cap and field gear, with a gewehr 98 rifle strapped along the side and a metal mess kit hanging from the back. on the right, a second soldier stands on guard with a rifle slung over his shoulder. the vertical handwritten ink caption on the front right reads "zum andenken an die russen!" (in memory of the russians), hinting at capturing local items or operating on the eastern front.
the reverse side features a detailed handwritten feldpost message dated 11 july 1916, sent from a soldier named otto to "fräulein klara schörner" in heubach bei gmünd, württemberg. the sender notation along the top edge reads "abs. otto baur, 7./119 schütze, 6. ko." (infanterie-regiment könig wilhelm i. (6. württembergisches) nr. 119).
