this is a beautiful vintage multi-view color lithograph postcard showcasing the scenic hamlet of kniebis near freudenstadt in the black forest region, germany.
the postcard features three distinct elements: a panoramic view of the württemberg part of the village, a detailed depiction of the historic gasthof kniebis-lamm hotel, and an elegant illustration of a wood grouse auerhahn perched on a branch in the lower right corner.
there is a neat handwritten date on the top front margin saying d. 4. juni 11 (june 4, 1911).
publisher: verlag philipp bussemer, baden-baden - card number 5036. philipp bussemer was a highly notable early pioneer and co-founder of the famous westweg hiking trail in the black forest.
