Grossbottwar / Germany: Bottwartal Lichtenberg Böckingen (Vintage PC Litho 1903)

antique german multi-view lithograph postcard titled gruss vom bottwarthal showing various views from the bottwar valley in wuerttemberg germany.
the front features a panoramic view of grossbottwar mit lichtenberg castle, a circular vignette of tunnenstein, the historic aussichtsturm watchtower, the ruins of lang hans castle, the local church kirche, and the historic town hall rathaus. the scene is decorated with blooming tree branches and a local coat of arms. the front includes a faded contemporary handwritten message in pencil.
the reverse side features an undivided back post-karte with a green 5 pfennig germania deutsches reich postage stamp, cancelled by a partial circular postmark from beilstein wurtt. the back also features a very crisp circular town arrival postmark from boeckingen dated 13 mai 03. it is addressed to fraeulein emilie rummler in boeckingen b. heilbronn.
