this is a rare vintage black and white artistic multi-view postcard showing the famous dreieingangshoehle (three-entrance cave) located on the rosenstein mountain near heubach in the swabian alb (schwaebische alb) region, germany.
the front features two distinct, beautiful artistic graphic illustrations: the top section depicts the exterior of the limestone cave walls behind a bare tree, signed by the artist g. jourdan 1914. the bottom section shows an evocative perspective from inside looking out of the cave.
the reverse side features a special decorative advertising cachet stamp from the local restaurant: waldschenke rosenstein 686 m. heubach.
