An exceptional historical postcard from Egypt, part of a premium matching 1921 Cairo luxury hotel correspondence set.

Front: A colorful vintage lithograph titled "ASSIUT - Le Barrage" depicting the famous Asyut Barrage dam on the Nile River, designed by Sir William Willcocks. Front-franked with two vintage Egyptian stamps (one brown 1 Millieme Felucca stamp and one red 4 Milliemes Pyramids of Giza stamp).

Back: Features the highly collectible circular postmark from the famous luxury hotel in Cairo: "CONTINENTAL / CAIRO" dated August 2, 1921 (2-VIII.21 10-0AM)
