vintage black and white japanese postcard showing the iconic wooden stage and balcony terrace of kiyomizu-dera temple in kyoto. the front captures a scenic overlook from the main hall veranda at sunset or sunrise, showcasing the artistic wooden railings with giboshi finials against a panoramic background of distant mountain ranges and rolling hills under a cloudy sky.
the reverse side features a divided back with an elegant green art nouveau clover/shamrock decorative border design. it contains the heading post card and japanese characters (郵便はがき - yubin hagaki).
