Teplitz-Schönau - Bohemia / Czechia: Castle Palace View (Vintage PC 1901)

vintage bohemian black and white printed postcard showing a scenic panoramic view of teplitz-schonau teplice, bohemia, now czech republic.
the image features the prominent castle building teplice chateau / schloss teplitz rising above the town houses in the foreground, with town streets and the dome of the synagogue visible in the background. the front includes handwritten greetings in old german ink script at the top, dated teplitz-schonau 20/2 1901.
published by ansichtskarten-en gros-verlag, prag, langegasse 31, series 32.
the reverse side shows an undivided back postkarte with green typography, bearing two circular town postmarks including a partial postmark from teplitz dated 20.2.01 and a herzogenburg arrival postmark dated 21.2.01. it is addressed to a court official gerichtsajunkt karl scholz in herzogenburg, lower austria. there is a light pencil date 22/2 901 written in the top left corner.
