front side features portraits of the royal couple inside decorative oval frames with floral rose ornaments and the baden coat of arms below including extensive handwritten text in old german kurrent handwriting script

back side is a postkarte addressed to herr theodor krasig junior in karlsruhe baden lammstrasse 10 includes a green 5 pfennig germania reichspost stamp with a clear circular karlsruhe postmark dated august 3 1900 and an additional local karlsruhe arrival or transit postmark from the same day
