I.K.H. Erbprinzessin Maria Adelheid On Horse (Vintage PC 1909)

historical royal commemorative collotype postcard featuring a portrait of the young hereditary grand duchess marie adelaide of luxembourg inside a white box captioned i k h erbprinzessin maria adelheid.

the front side shows her riding a horse sidesaddle in elegant historic attire and a hat.

the reverse side features two green 5 centimes stamps from the grand duche de luxembourg. the stamps are cancelled with a clear circular postmark dated september 14 1909.

the card is printed by publisher ch bernhoeft luxembourg under card number 11637. it is addressed to roma italy with a handwritten message in german kurrent script on the left side dated dudelingen 19 9 09.

size: ~ 14 x 9 cm (1 cm ~ 0.39 inch)
