the front shows emperor kaiser wilhelm ii in uniform sitting with his two oldest grandsons prince wilhelm of prussia born 1906 and prince louis ferdinand of prussia born 1907. published by verlag von gust. liersch and co berlin no 2156.

the reverse side features a handwritten message in german script postmarked in berlin nw on august 8 1909 with a green 5 pfennig deutsches reich stamp.
