vintage philatelic lithograph postcard titled les premiers timbres poste de la suisse (the first postage stamps of switzerland), specifically highlighting the canton of geneva.
the front depicts the coat of arms of Geneva (canton genf) alongside illustrations of historic swiss classic stamps, including the famous double geneva (double de geneve) and port cantonal / port local issues. the front features a long handwritten message in portuguese to vasco from his sister mimi, mentioning montreux.
the back has a swiss stamp canceled with a Territet postmark dated september 25, 1907. it also features a clear black arrival postmark from lisbon, portugal (lisboa), addressed to mr. vasco porto maior at calcada da estrella 80.
