beautiful vintage black and white multi-view real photo postcard showcasing the historic cistercian monastery complex of heiligkreuztal, located in the altheim municipality within the biberach district of baden-wuerttemberg, germany.
the front features two scenic photographic views: the top image frames the monastic buildings and the church through a historic stone archway. the bottom image captures a picturesque reflection of traditional half-timbered houses fachwerkhaeuser on the local pond, captioned heiligkreuztal.
the reverse side features a divided back with a lengthy handwritten message in german script. it was not postally sent but bears a beautiful circular cachet stamp reading echte photographie (wuerth).
