scarce vintage black and white multi-view real photo postcard showcasing the village of andelfingen, located in the langenenslingen municipality within the biberach district of baden-wuerttemberg, germany.
the front features four distinct photographic views inset on a dark background: a panoramic view of the village skyline captioned andelfingen, the local church, a large schoolhouse or public building, and a street scene with local houses and figures.
the reverse side features a divided back with a lengthy handwritten message in german script, dated on the front left vertical edge as november 6, 1929. it was postally sent and bears a clear black circular town postmark from riedlingen dated november 8, 1929 (8.11.). it is addressed to a fraeulein in gundelfingen an der donau.
