vintage black and white japanese postcard featuring the gate and bell tower of the historic nose myoken temple (myoken-san) in osaka/hyogo region. the front depicts the temple entrance structures with a stone komainu guardian lion statue on the right and three men in traditional clothing standing near the wooden gate. a large, prominent red commemorative ink stamp (shuin / temple seal) is featured in the lower left corner.
the reverse side features a blue divided back layout with the heading post card and japanese characters (郵便はがき - yubin hagaki) along with an art nouveau style floral postage stamp box showing lilies.
