vintage hand colored postcard from mexico showing a large building identified as "juzgados de letras del ramo penal" (criminal court), with a crowd of people in traditional dress gathered outside, published by victor weiskopf.
the front bears four identical mexican 1 centavo "correos mexico" stamps, all clearly cancelled, making up a 4 centavo multiple franking.
the reverse is postmarked 1920 and carries a message from alfonso morales, hidalgo no 190, monterrey, nuevo leon, mexico, addressed to mr miguel vila, 9 fiol, palma de mallorca, balearic islands, spain, a known postcard and stamp collector.
the card is marked with a collector exchange reference number u.s.c.e. 7823, indicating it was sent through an early 20th century international postcard and stamp exchange network.
