published by j. h. schaefers, amsterdam, marked on the reverse "j. h. schaefers' dubbelton, amsterdam (depose) no. 5022".

the postcard was sent as printed matter ("drukwerk") from assen to miguel vila in palma, mallorca, spain, with a postmark dated 17 february 1916.
